Details

Fire Services will cover the cost of airfare, accommodations, conference fees, and meals (in accordance with council policy limits), as well as wages for each day of conference training. Wages will not be paid for travel days.

Pre-Requisites

Active instructor role and regular involvement in the delivery of training within Parkland County Fire Services,
Minimum 2 years instructional experience (some exceptions may be considered),
Satisfactory attendance to training and calls as per SOG
Minimum 21 years of age,
Valid passport and eligibility to travel to the United States,
NFPA 1001 Level 1 and Level 2 Certification (some exceptions may be considered).

Preferred

Active in a Lead Instructor role
Successful completion of NFPA 1041 Level 1 Fire Service Instructor
