Prerequisites:

  • Minimum Attendance Requirements
  • Recruit Class 2024 or Earlier,
  • NFPA 1001 Level 1 Certification (IFSAC/ProBoard)
  • IFSTA Chapter 16 - Building Materials, Structural Collapse, and Effects of Fire Suppression (IFSTA Chapter 3/4/16 Course)
  • IFSTA Chapter 17/19/21 - Technical Rescue Support and Vehicle Extrication Operations, Incident Scene Operations, Maintenance and Testing Responsibilities
  • IFSTA Chapter 20/22 - Fire Origin and Cause Determination, Community Risk Reduction
